Breather is an initiative that facilitates workers to prioritise their breaks at work and ultimately enhance productivity and overall well-being.

“The cost to productivity just from the actively disengaged employees is $450 billion to $550 billion a year.“
– Tony Schwartz, CEO of The Energy Project

Though many workers are aware that taking breaks may be good for them, they fear that stepping away from their desk will result in losing value amongst colleagues. Workers need to see lunch breaks as an effective use of time and feel secure in making the decision to have one.

This project was a collaboration between myself, Ashleigh Dawson, and Sophie Watts, as part of a university assessment.
